DESCRIPTION

In 2016 I curated and installed an exhibition entitled Fit to Print at the Tomi Ungerer Museum in Strasbourg, France. On view from January to April 2016, the exhibition featured personal artworks, NYTimes editorial illustration, and collaborative publications by 17 young graduates of the Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR) in Strasbourg. The show later traveled to New York in March 2017.

The exhibition also featured a selection of editorial illustrations created for The New York Times’ Opinion section from 2012-15.

NYC Events

In March 2017 the exhibition opened at The New York Times’ Gallery 7 and The Society of Illustrators. All 17 artists received grants to fly from France to New York for the openings, and to table at MoCCA Arts Festival. I also organized a live drawing and bookselling event at the French Embassy.
