In 2021 I worked as the first ever Visual Editor of The New York Review of Books, commissioning original illustration, art directing covers, and curating photography. One notable commission included an original artwork by Colombian fine artist José Antonio Suárez Londoño for the cover of the August 19, 2021 issue. I sought to select artwork for the magazine that blurred the boundaries between fine art and illustration.
