During the pandemic, I art directed Shira Ovide’s daily technology column for The New York Times, commissioning original animations from freelance artists worldwide. Collaborating closely with each artist, I directed visuals that captured the column’s themes under extremely tight daily deadlines. Over the year, I shaped a distinctive visual identity for the column, broadening both the scope of editorial animation and the roster of artist contributors to the Times.
